Oxbow WLT San Onofre Day 1



Oxbow team riders Matthew Moir, Colin McPhillips, Antoine Delpero and Duane DeSoto, proved to be in stunning form, combining power, elegance and speed, but above all, tuning into the peaky conditions as the afternoon onshores blew away an excellent first day to the Oxbow WLT.

San Onofre is a deeply symbolic surfing break in California's colourful beach culture, famous for its smooth peeling waves and beach fires set against the sandstone cliffs and scattered palms.

Oxbow World Longboard Tour San Onofre Even More Day 4



In the quarterfinals Bonga Perkins and Ned Snow reeled on, while Antoine Delpero defeated Josh Baxter, the last remaining American in a contest where the local Californian stylists did themselves proud. In a phydraining heat, Brazilian stalwart Alex Salazar beat Matthew Moir.

Oxbow World Longboard Tour San Onofre Day 2 Video



The classic San O style shone through with Americans Joe Aaron and Brad Vetter. The nail bitter of the day came when reigning British and European longboard champion Ben Skinner won a tense heat.Sam Bleakley steps up a gear in his heat to beat former ASP World Longboard Champion Dino Miranda from Hawaii.
